In the late '60's Toronto was papered with posters proclaiming this as Beatle John Lennon and his wife artist Yoko Ono did their anti-war peace campaign here. They were right. Obviouslyy not enough people want it yet.

 

Decide to do something about stop supporting War -especially our young Canadian soldiers going as  "peacekeeping" troops to Afghanistan. Write letters to the P.M. Harp at Harper, get out in the streets,

realize that CAnadians are being dupes of the Big Boys who don't give a crap about these young brainwashed boys lives and those of their families and friends.

This is a war culture, a violent culture, children are fed gun culture, violence, macho- no brainers, it's everywhere on TV in movies, video games, rap music.

Boys being boys are naturally biologically competitive.

 

Killing is a sin, it's the first thou shalt not no no in the 10 Commandments, this is the foundation of Christianity and of course Judaism. Buddhists aren't supposed to kill anything-even a mosquito.

 

Obviously we're all hypocrites here with a big H, develop H bombs, etc. etc.

 

Women as bearers of life, as mothers, as born to relate, speak up, shout it out, teach your children that violence is not a solution, that guns don't provide answers, that killing is a sin, that human life each and every one is prescious and rare and valuable.

 

We won't end the war outside till we end it inside, and to that end most of us hold the war within, between the masculine and the feminine, them and us, as projections, judgements, ego, self-preservation, self-righteousness, status, ignorance, passivity to the status quo, and the culture, and brainwashing.
